Continuously enhance fraud detection capabilities, ensure compliance with the SAMA Counter-Fraud Framework, and build a high-performing team to protect Geidea, its merchants, and customers from evolving cyber-fraud threats.
Responsibilities
Own end-to-end cyber-fraud monitoring, detection, and investigation across Geidea's digital and payment channels, ensuring 24/7 coverage and timely response to fraud events and incidents.Design, tune, and continuously optimize fraud-detection rules, behavioral models, and risk-scoring logic (including through platforms such as Group-IB) to reduce fraud losses and false positives.Lead cyber-fraud risk assessments and control-gap remediation across products, merchants, and channels, translating findings into monitoring rules, policy updates, and SOPs.Contribute to the cyber-fraud dimension of the SAMA Counter-Fraud Framework compliance and maturity program, including regulatory case and intelligence submissions and audit readiness.Direct and develop the Cyber Counter Fraud team, setting priorities and quality standards, ensuring adherence to case-handling and escalation SOPs, and driving training/certification plans.Support the maintenance and enhancement of cyber-fraud policies, standards, and technical documentation, and lead cross-functional coordination with Cybersecurity, Risk, Technology, Operations, and Compliance on control design and incident response.Prepare and present cyber-fraud KPI/KRI management reporting and emerging-threat intelligence to the Head of Counter Fraud and relevant committees to support risk-based decision-making.Lead end-to-end Cyber Fraud system integrations, ensuring all required data is accurately captured, validated, and reliably delivered to support effective fraud detection and monitoring.Must have technical/professional qualifications:5+ years of relevant experience in fraud, cyber fraud, cybersecurity, risk, or a related field.Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.Professional certification at least one or more of the following, CFE,CFI, CISSP, CISM, GCFA, GCFE, or GCIH.Cyber-fraud detection and investigationFraud monitoring and detection systemsFraud rules, risk scoring, and behavioral analyticsIncident investigation and responseKnowledge of SAMA Counter-Fraud requirementsStakeholder management and cross-functional collaborationOur values guide how we think and act - They describe what we care about the mostCustomer first - It’s embedded in our design thinking and customer service approachOpen - Openness allows us to constantly improve and evolveReal - No jargon and no excuses!Bold - Constantly challenging ourselves and our way of thinkingResilient – If we fail, we bounce back stronger than beforeCollaborative - We know that we can achieve a lot more as a teamWe are changing lives by constantly striving for a better solutionClick apply below and become part of the Geidea story
