Cyber Risk Consulting Leader – Middle East & AfricaLocation: DubaiEmployment Type: Full-timeSector: Cybersecurity, Risk Advisory & InsuranceWe are supporting a leading global risk advisory business with the appointment of a Cyber Risk Consulting Leader to build and lead its cybersecurity advisory practice across the Middle East and Africa.This is a senior, commercially focused leadership position for someone who can combine deep cyber-risk expertise with consulting leadership, business development and practice-building experience.The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape the regional strategy, develop new cyber advisory services, build a high-performing consulting team and work directly with boards, C-suite executives and major organisations across the region.The RoleYou will be responsible for:• Developing and executing the regional cyber risk consulting strategy• Building and growing a profitable cybersecurity advisory practice• Taking ownership of revenue growth, pipeline development and P&L performance• Identifying new opportunities across existing and prospective clients• Cross-selling cyber advisory services alongside insurance and wider risk solutions• Leading client engagements with boards, executives and senior risk stakeholders• Translating complex cyber risks into clear commercial and financial implications• Developing proposals, scopes of work, pricing models and client presentations• Leading cyber risk assessments, maturity reviews and resilience programmes• Advising clients on cyber incident preparedness and response planning• Supporting organisations against frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST CSF• Advising clients on cyber insurance requirements and risk-transfer strategies• Supporting cyber due diligence during mergers, acquisitions and other transactions• Recruiting, developing and leading a regional cyber consulting team• Building relationships with insurers, brokers, technology partners and industry stakeholdersThe Ideal CandidateWe are looking for someone who can demonstrate:• Approximately 15+ years of experience across cybersecurity, technology risk or risk consulting• At least five years in a senior leadership or practice-management position• Experience building, leading or significantly growing a cyber risk consulting practice• Strong commercial experience, including revenue generation, business development and P&L ownership• A strong understanding of cyber insurance and how cybersecurity risk affects coverage and underwriting• Experience advising boards and C-suite stakeholders on complex cyber risks• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity governance, resilience and industry frameworks• Experience developing consulting services, proposals, pricing and client solutions• The ability to originate new business and expand relationships with existing clients• Previous responsibility for recruiting, managing and developing consulting teams• Excellent communication, stakeholder-management and negotiation skillsExperience within a global consultancy, risk advisory firm, insurance broker or professional services organisation would be highly advantageous.
