Cyber Security Analyst

Our client is bringing cyber security in-house, and they’re looking for an analyst to help build it and own it.This is a hands-on role protecting operations that genuinely matter. You’ll work across both IT and Operational Technology (OT) environments, with real scope to shape how the function evolves from day one.What you’ll doSecure and govern the Microsoft 365 and Azure environment, including policies and DLP through Microsoft PurviewWork with a modern security stack covering identity security, AD attack detection and threat detection toolsSupport red team testing in a dedicated hack labManage risk, vulnerabilities and compliance against Essential Eight, AESCSF, ISA/IEC 62443 and NISTAct as an incident handler within the incident response team, including out-of-hours support during critical incidentsWhat you’ll bringMultiple years’ cyber security experience, ideally with OT exposureHands-on experience with firewalls, EDR, IAM, PAM, Zero Trust and vulnerability managementStrong Microsoft (Azure and M365) security skillsExcellent communication skills, able to explain risk clearly to technical and non-technical peopleCertifications such as CISSP, CISM, GICSP or GIAC are highly regardedThe packagePermanent, full-time$145-160K plus super, dependant on experienceMelbourne CBD Location
