Cyber Security Analyst (L1)

We are looking for motivated Cyber Security Analysts (L1) to join our Security Operations team.This is an entry-level role for candidates who want to build practical experience in SOC operations, security monitoring, log analysis, phishing investigation, basic malware analysis, and incident response.You will monitor security events, perform initial alert triage, investigate suspicious activity, and support senior analysts and engineers during security investigations and incident response activities. The role involves working with SIEM platforms and analyzing security activity across endpoints, networks, systems, and applications.You’ll be a good fit if you are analytical, detail-oriented, curious about cybersecurity, and motivated to continuously develop your technical and investigative skills.The role is shift-based and on-site, including rotational assignments at client premises where required.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor SIEM platforms and perform initial alert triageInvestigate suspicious activity through log analysis and event correlationPerform phishing analysis and basic malware investigationAnalyze security events across endpoints, networks, systems, and applicationsSupport senior analysts and engineers during security investigations and incident response activitiesDocument investigation findings clearly and accuratelyContribute to SOC playbooks, procedures, and continuous improvement initiativesAt Logstail, you’ll gain hands-on experience with real-world security events while working alongside experienced cybersecurity professionals. Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Digital Systems, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Information & Communication Systems Engineering, Applied Informatics, or another closely related ICT discipline· Foundational knowledge of cybersecurity, networking, and operating systems· Basic familiarity with SIEM tools, log analysis, and incident response concepts· Understanding of common cybersecurity threats such as phishing, malware, and credential-based attacks· Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and willingness to learn· Good command of written and spoken EnglishFulfilled military service obligations, where applicable
