Cyber Security Business AnalystRate: £450 per day (Inside IR35)Contract: Initial 3-Month ContractLocation: Reading – 3 days per week onsiteA leading organisation is looking to appoint an experienced Cyber Security Business Analyst to support the delivery of key cyber security initiatives across a complex enterprise environment.This role forms part of a long-term cyber transformation programme, making it an excellent opportunity for a contractor looking for a project with a strong likelihood of extension beyond the initial 3-month term.Working as part of a collaborative cyber security team, you'll play a key role in bridging the gap between business and technology, ensuring critical security initiatives are successfully delivered and aligned with organisational objectives.Key Responsibilities:Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to capture, analyse and document business requirements.Facilitate workshops to understand current and future-state processes.Translate business requirements into detailed functional and non-functional specifications.Support the delivery of cyber security and technology transformation projects.Produce high-quality documentation, including business process maps, user stories and requirements documentation.Conduct gap analysis and identify opportunities for process improvement.Collaborate with project managers, architects and cyber security specialists throughout the project lifecycle.Support testing, change management and user acceptance activities where required.Ensure solutions align with business objectives, security standards and regulatory requirements.Key Requirements:Proven experience as a Business Analyst delivering cyber security or information security projects.Strong experience gathering and documenting business and technical requirements.Excellent stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.Experience working within complex enterprise environments.Strong understanding of cyber security principles, governance and risk management.Experience producing process maps, user stories, functional specifications and business requirements documentation.Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent written and verbal communication.Experience working alongside cyber security, infrastructure and technology teams.This is an excellent opportunity to join a large-scale organisation delivering a business-critical cyber transformation programme.
