About the RoleMarid is looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer to own our information security function in Riyadh, covering security operations, risk management, and compliance with SAMA's Cyber Security Framework. This is a role with real ownership and a clear path toward senior information security leadership as Marid scales.About MaridMarid is building an AI-powered open banking credit card analysis platform for the GCC region. Our platform helps consumers gain deeper, more intelligent visibility into their credit card usage, spending behaviour, and financial health, powered by open banking data and advanced analytics.We operate at the forefront of Saudi Arabia's rapidly evolving open banking landscape, aligned with SAMA's Open Banking Framework and Vision 2030's financial sector transformation agenda.Key ResponsibilitiesAs our Cybersecurity Engineer, you will:Own the development and maintenance of cyber security policies, procedures, and standards aligned with SAMA's Cyber Security Framework.Conduct cyber security risk assessments: identify, analyze, and prioritize risks across systems and processes.Monitor security operations, manage incident response, and lead vulnerability management and remediation tracking.Maintain the documentation required for SAMA compliance reporting and audits.Deliver security awareness training for staff.Conduct third-party and vendor security reviews as Marid's vendor and cloud footprint grows.Report directly to leadership on Marid's security posture and roadmap.About YouYou take real ownership of security outcomes, and you're comfortable being the person accountable for getting it right, from policy to practice.Essential QualificationsSaudi national.BSc in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.Solid hands-on experience in cybersecurity or IT security, spanning risk assessment, vulnerability management, security monitoring, and incident response.Familiarity with, or strong ability to quickly learn, regulatory frameworks such as SAMA's Cyber Security Framework.Strong documentation skills, comfortable writing policies, procedures, and reports.Fluency in Arabic and English.Desirable QualificationsCertifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP, or CISM.Experience in fintech, financial services, or another regulated industry.What We OfferBase salary plus housing and transport allowances.Annual bonus based on company and individual performance.Annual travel allowance.Gym membership allowance.Professional development and certification reimbursement (pre-approved).Comprehensive medical insurance for you and eligible dependents.30 days paid annual leave plus Saudi public holidays.End-of-service gratuity in accordance with Saudi Labour Law.Why Join UsMarid is operating at the heart of a fundamental shift in how financial data is accessed, understood, and used across the GCC.
