As part of this journey, we are looking for a Cyber Security Engineer who will play a key role in strengthening our detection, response, and defensive security operations.In this role, you will:Manage and continuously improve our SIEM platform, including log source onboarding, correlation rules, alerting, and dashboards to ensure effective threat detection across the environment,Own audit log management end to end, ensuring comprehensive, tamper-resistant log collection, retention, and availability in line with regulatory and forensic requirements,Lead and coordinate incident response activities, from detection and triage through containment, eradication, and post-incident review, and help mature our IR playbooks and processes,Administer and optimize core defensive security tooling, including EDR, email security, and endpoint protection, tuning policies to balance security and operational needs,Manage our WAF configuration, rulesets, and tuning to protect web applications and APIs against evolving threats,Design and operate log management on robust, clustered, high-availability technologies, making strong use of open-source solutions where appropriate,Mentor and support junior security engineers, sharing knowledge, reviewing their work, and helping grow the team's overall capability.Your Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related technical field,Minimum 4 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, security operations, or a related field,Experience in fintech, banking, or other regulated industries is a strong plus,Hands-on experience managing SIEM platforms, audit logging, and security monitoring at scale,Solid experience with log management on robust, clustered technologies (e.g., Elastic/OpenSearch, Kafka, or similar high-availability stacks),Strong familiarity with, and comfort using, open-source security solutions,Practical experience with incident response, EDR, email security, and WAF management,Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive problem-solving mindset,Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Turkish and English, with the ability to clearly explain security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.What Awaits You?
