Cyber Security Manager

Job SummaryThe Cybersecurity Manager will spearhead the development and implementation of robust security policies, controls, and standards. You will safeguard our technical infrastructure, systems, and data against cyber risks and threats while ensuring full compliance with national regulatory frameworks.Key ResponsibilitiesAdministrative & Supervisory Duties:Contribute to setting strategic plans, operational goals, and KPIs for the department, continuously measuring and tracking performance.Guide the team toward operational excellence, enhancing service quality, accuracy, and efficiency.Recommend workflow improvements, ensuring all approved policies, procedures, and systems are documented and strictly followed.Evaluate staff performance, identify training needs, recommend targeted programs, and monitor their effectiveness.Estimate and provide necessary resources, tools, and technologies for daily operations, ensuring optimal utilization.Collaborate in drafting the departmental budget and monitoring financial performance.Identify talent requirements and provide HR recommendations regarding promotions, transfers, and rewards.Foster effective communication channels within the team and keep staff informed of key updates and decisions.Organize and maintain departmental documentation for seamless retrieval.Identify and coordinate the provision of administrative and technical resources.Technical & Specialized Duties:Supervise the development and execution of cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures in alignment with national frameworks.Oversee technical infrastructure, systems, and applications to detect cyber threats and breaches, taking immediate remediation actions.Manage Identity and Access Management (IAM), enforcing the Principle of Least Privilege (PoLP).Oversee penetration testing, regular cyber risk assessments, and mitigation planning.Lead incident response management, coordinating containment, root-cause analysis, and lessons learned.Promote a strong cybersecurity culture among employees through continuous training and awareness campaigns.Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and report periodically on adherence levels.Coordinate with General Departments of Data and IT to ensure best practices in data protection, business continuity, and disaster recovery.Perform other related tasks as assigned.Job RequirementsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity.Core Competencies & ProficienciesLeadership Competencies (Intermediate Level): Planning & Execution, Decision Making, Empowerment, Monitoring & Evaluation, Motivation, and Change Management.Behavioral Competencies (Advanced Level): Technical Excellence, Presentation Skills, Critical & Analytical Thinking, Adaptability, Effective Communication, Self-Learning, Accountability, Teamwork, and Professional Writing.Innovative Competencies (Advanced Level): Creative Thinking, Innovative Problem Solving, and Institutional Innovation.Technical Competencies (Advanced Level): Risk Assessment, Network Security, Data Encryption, Cyber Awareness, Incident Response, Security Policy Development, and Infrastructure Hardening.
