Apply & track with Apply EdgeAbout the RoleThe Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst is responsible for collecting, analysing, anddisseminating cyber threat intelligence from multiple sources to support proactivedefence, improve situational awareness, and inform tactical and strategic securitydecisions. This role works closely with SOC, Incident Response, VulnerabilityManagement, and other cybersecurity teams to identify relevant threats, assess risk,and provide actionable intelligence.Key Responsibilities
- Conduct cyber threat intelligence collection from internal and external sources,including open-source intelligence, threat feeds, technical telemetry, andindustry reporting.
- Monitor the threat landscape for emerging threats, vulnerabilities, adversaryactivity, and attack campaigns relevant to the organisation.
- Analyse threat actor tactics, techniques, and procedures using recognisedframeworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, Cyber Kill Chain, and the Diamond Model.
- Produce intelligence outputs such as alerts, reports, threat profiles, briefings,and strategic assessments for technical and executive audiences.
- Support security operations by enriching alerts, improving detections, andcontributing intelligence to SIEM, EDR, and other cybersecurity platforms.
- Work with incident response and threat hunting teams to support investigationsand proactive threat discovery.
- Maintain and improve threat intelligence processes, workflows, templates, andquality standards.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of threat intelligencecapabilities, platforms, and reporting mechanisms.Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology,or a related field.
- Proven experience in cyber threat intelligence, threat research, SOC, incidentresponse, or a related cybersecurity function.
- Strong understanding of cyber threats, malware, attacker behaviour, andcommon intrusion techniques.
- Experience using threat intelligence platforms, SIEM tools, EDR/XDRtechnologies, and relevant intelligence sources.
- Familiarity with structured intelligence analysis and intelligence lifecyclemethodologies.
- Ability to write clear, concise, and actionable intelligence reports for differentstakeholder groups.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, GCTI, GCIA, GCFA, or similar.
- Experience analysing advanced persistent threats, ransomware activity,cybercrime groups, or sector-specific threat trends.
- Exposure to threat hunting, malware analysis, digital forensics, or vulnerabilityintelligence.Skills
- Threat analysis and intelligence reporting.
- OSINT research and intelligence collection.
- Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK and threat modelling frameworks.
- Stakeholder communication and briefing preparation.
- Collaboration with SOC and incident response teams.
