This role focuses on protecting PrepMoment’s applications, networks, and information assets by identifying vulnerabilities, implementing security controls, and monitoring for threats. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting security assessments, reviewing and hardening system and application configurations, and managing incident detection, response, and documentation. The specialist will collaborate with development and IT teams to embed security best practices, maintain compliance with relevant standards, and continuously improve security policies and procedures. The role also involves educating internal stakeholders on cybersecurity awareness and supporting secure operations as the platform scales.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Cybersecurity and Information Security skills, including risk assessment and security governance.Candidates should possess Network Security skills, such as configuring and monitoring firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and secure network architectures.Candidates should possess Application Security skills, including secure coding principles, vulnerability scanning, and remediation of web and mobile applications.Candidates should possess general Cyber skills, including threat analysis, incident response, and familiarity with common attack vectors and frameworks.Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, Security+) are beneficial.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Experience with security tools (SIEM, endpoint protection, vulnerability scanners) and familiarity with industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST) are preferred.Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate technical issues clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
