Role Description The Cybersecurity Architect is a full-time, on-site role based in Riyadh. In this position, the architect designs and maintains secure system architectures for Muhlah’s micro-financing platforms, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing security risks, defining security controls, and collaborating with engineering and product teams to integrate security into application and infrastructure design. The role involves reviewing existing network and application security configurations, leading threat modeling and security reviews, and recommending improvements to safeguard data and systems. The architect will also contribute to incident response planning, security documentation, and continuous enhancement of the company’s cybersecurity posture.Qualifications:Candidates should possess strong skills in Security Architecture Design and overall Cybersecurity strategy.Candidates should possess skills in Application Security, including secure software design and vulnerability mitigation.Candidates should possess skills in Network Security and Information Security, covering secure network design and data protection.Relevant experience in fintech, financial services, or regulated industries, with familiarity with Saudi or international security standards and regulations.Proficiency with security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST), risk assessment methodologies, and security best practices for cloud and on-premises environments.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and mentor technical teams on security topics.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related fieldprofessional certifications such as TOGAF or SABSA Certification is requiredStrong English language skills, both written and spoken.
