Apply & track with Apply EdgeCybersecurity Architect (Multi-cloud) is required by our financial services client to lead the design and enforcement of secure, scalable frameworks across distributed multi-cloud and hybrid environments. You will bridge the gap between business goals and technical execution, ensuring that our data, identities, and infrastructure remain protected against evolving threat landscapes across AWS, Azure, and GCPFor this role, we need a senior cybersecurity technologist with excellent client facing, communication and stakeholder management skills and a very strong track record in delivery and execution on previous assignments ResponsibilitiesDesign end-to-end, enterprise-grade secure multi-cloud and hybrid infrastructures, eliminating single points of failure and ensuring high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR).Establish unified, scalable IAM hierarchies, cross-account trust relationships, federation, and Zero Trust access policies across multiple cloud tenants.Define and enforce security baselines, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) security standards, and automated guardrails using tools like Terraform, Azure Bicep, or CloudFormation.Embed security seamlessly into CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes), and software development life cycles (SDLC). [1]Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments, aligning architectures with regulatory and industry frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Benchmarks, GDPR). [1]Act as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) advising development, network, and operations teams on secure cloud adoption and risk remediation.Essential experience Minimum of 8–10 years in IT and cybersecurity, with at least 4–5 years specializing in cloud security architecture across more than one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP).Deep knowledge of cloud networking, microservices security, cryptographic key management (KMS/HSM), and API security protocols (OAuth, JWT, mTLS).Hands-on experience with IaC security, SIEM/SOAR integrations, and cloud posture management tools (e.g., Prisma Cloud, HashiCorp Vault, Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel).CISSP, CCSP, or AWS/Azure/GCP Security Specialty certifications.Exceptional communication skills with the capacity to present complex security architectures clearly to both technical engineers and executive leadershipFinancial Services or Banking Industry experience highly desirableBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
