Apply & track with Apply EdgeGeneral DescriptionJoin a growing Cyber Operations business in the UAE supporting enterprise clients across cybersecurity transformation, managed security services, SOC, MXDR, EDR/XDR, and security operations initiatives.We are looking for an experienced Cybersecurity Pre-Sales & Solutions Consultant – SOC / MXDR / EDR with a strong combination of cybersecurity pre-sales, solution consulting, SOC/Security Operations, managed detection and response, endpoint security, and hands-on technical delivery expertise.This is not a purely commercial Pre-Sales position. The successful candidate will work directly with clients during discovery, solution design, technical workshops, demonstrations, proposals, and solution scoping, while also remaining technically hands-on and supporting billable delivery engagements across Cyber Operations projects.The role requires someone who can confidently communicate with CISOs, security leadership, technical stakeholders, and SOC teams, translate business and security requirements into practical technical solutions, and support both market development/sales objectives and client delivery.This opportunity is ideal for cybersecurity professionals who can bridge the gap between Pre-Sales, Solution Architecture, Cyber Operations, and hands-on technical delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesLead cybersecurity Pre-Sales and Solutions Consulting activities across SOC, MDR/MXDR, EDR/XDR, SIEM, and broader Cyber Operations servicesConduct client discovery sessions to understand existing security environments, operational challenges, security requirements, and business objectivesDesign and propose SOC, Managed SOC, MDR/MXDR, EDR/XDR, SIEM, and threat detection solutionsDeliver technical presentations, solution demonstrations, workshops, architecture discussions, and Proof of Concepts (PoCs)Translate customer requirements into technical architectures, solution designs, statements of work, implementation approaches, and delivery plansSupport RFP/RFI responses, proposals, technical documentation, solution scoping, effort estimation, and commercial discussionsProvide technical expertise during customer meetings alongside sales and business development teamsSupport market development, opportunity identification, pipeline generation, and sales-related KPIsRemain technically involved and billable by participating directly in client cybersecurity delivery engagementsSupport implementation, configuration, integration, onboarding, optimization, and troubleshooting of security technologiesDesign and enhance SOC monitoring, threat detection, alerting, correlation rules, dashboards, and security use casesSupport security incident detection, investigation, response, and continuous improvement activitiesDesign and integrate SIEM solutions including Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, IBM QRadar, Elastic Security, or equivalent platformsSupport deployment and optimization of EDR/XDR platforms such as Microsoft Defender XDR, CrowdStrike Falcon, SentinelOne, Palo Alto Cortex XDR/XSIAM, or equivalent technologiesSupport MDR/MXDR service onboarding, security tooling integration, log source onboarding, and operational readinessWork closely with client SOC teams, cybersecurity leadership, engineering teams, vendors, and internal commercial stakeholdersIdentify opportunities to enhance or expand existing client Cyber Operations capabilities and managed security servicesMaintain strong awareness of emerging cybersecurity technologies, threats, security operations trends, and market developments.Required ExperienceStrong professional experience across Cybersecurity, Security Operations, SOC, Security Consulting, or related domainsProven experience in Cybersecurity Pre-Sales, Solutions Consulting, Security Solution Architecture, or customer-facing technical consultingStrong knowledge of SOC / Security Operations, including security monitoring, threat detection, incident response, and operational processesStrong experience with MDR / MXDR and Managed Security ServicesHands-on understanding of EDR/XDR technologies, including platforms such as Microsoft Defender XDR, CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Palo Alto Cortex, or similarStrong experience with SIEM technologies, such as Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, IBM QRadar, Elastic Security, or equivalentExperience conducting technical discovery, client workshops, solution presentations, demonstrations, and PoCsExperience supporting RFPs/RFIs, technical proposals, solution designs, architecture documentation, and Statements of WorkAbility to translate business and cybersecurity requirements into practical and commercially viable technical solutionsStrong hands-on technical capability with the ability to participate in implementation, configuration, integration, onboarding, and optimizationGood understanding of threat detection, incident response, detection engineering, security monitoring, and SOC use-case developmentStrong client-facing communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to communicate effectively with both executive/CISO-level stakeholders and technical cybersecurity teamsComfortable supporting sales and market-development objectives while maintaining responsibility for technical deliveryExperience working within an MSSP, MDR provider, cybersecurity vendor, systems integrator, consultancy, or similar client-facing environment is highly desirableWillingness and ability to work with clients in the UAE.Preferred ExperiencePrevious experience combining Cybersecurity Pre-Sales and Professional Services / Technical DeliveryStrong technical background developed through previous roles such as SOC Engineer, Security Engineer, Security Consultant, Cybersecurity Architect, or Security Solutions ArchitectExperience designing and delivering SOC transformation or SOC modernization programsExperience with Microsoft Security technologies, particularly Microsoft Sentinel and Defender XDRExposure to cloud security across Azure, AWS, and/or GCPKnowledge of SOAR, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, network security, IAM, and cloud securityRelevant cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISM, Security+, SC-200, SC-100, Microsoft Security, Splunk, CrowdStrike, Palo Alto, or equivalentExperience working across multiple enterprise clients and industriesExperience contributing to business development, account growth, solution positioning, and go-to-market activitiesStrong understanding of the UAE/GCC cybersecurity and managed security services market.Work Setup
