Cybersecurity Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced Cybersecurity Project Manager to lead cybersecurity projects and coordinate effectively between clients, technical teams, vendors, and other stakeholders.The role requires someone who can manage projects from planning through completion while maintaining clear communication with clients and senior management. The successful candidate should be comfortable managing technical teams and vendors, resolving delivery challenges, and presenting project progress, risks, and required decisions to executive and governance committees.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and manage cybersecurity projects from initiation through delivery and closure.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, issues, and deliverables.
• Coordinate between clients, cybersecurity teams, IT functions, vendors, consultants, and other stakeholders.
• Build strong client relationships, manage expectations, and provide clear and timely project updates.
• Monitor vendor deliverables, SLA performance, outstanding issues, and contractual commitments.
• Escalate unresolved project risks and vendor performance issues through the appropriate governance channels.
• Maintain project plans, risk and issue registers, action trackers, decision logs, and change requests.
• Prepare executive dashboards and committee reports covering project status, milestones, budgets, KPIs, KRIs, risks, and vendor performance.
• Present project updates and required decisions to executive management and governance or steering committees.
• Record committee decisions and follow up on assigned actions until closure, maintaining a clear audit trail.
• Support cybersecurity reporting required by regulators, boards, and senior management.
• Coordinate projects across areas such as GRC, vulnerability management, IAM, SOC, security assessments, network security, and security monitoring.
• Ensure that projects follow the required governance, security, quality, and regulatory standards.Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of total professional experience.
• At least 3 years of direct experience managing cybersecurity or IT security projects.
• Proven experience coordinating technical security teams and managing cybersecurity vendors or consultants.
• Strong client-facing or Client Success experience.
• Practical experience managing project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, issues, and deliverables.
• Experience preparing and presenting reports to executive management and steering committees.
• Familiarity with NCA ECC, SAMA CSF, or similar cybersecurity frameworks is strongly preferred.
• Good understanding of key cybersecurity domains, including GRC, IAM, SOC, vulnerability management, security assessments, and network security.
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project-management methodologies.
• PMP certification is preferred but not mandatory.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or Security+ are an advantage.
• Strong communication, reporting, documentation, stakeholder-management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate and present professionally in Arabic and English.
