Genex Infosys PLC. is looking for Cybersecurity Security Practice Lead (Sr. Manager / DGM)Job Description / ResponsibilityAbout the RoleThis is a ground-floor leadership opportunity to design, build, and scale Genex's Cybersecurity practice from zero. You will own the SOC build, land the first reference client, recruit and train the analyst team, and shape the practice into a certified, revenuegenerating, recurring-subscription business line. You will report directly to the Head of Solutions Business and carry full P&L ownership for the practice.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and stand up the SOC target operating model: service catalogue, SLA tiers, SIEM platform selection, tooling budget, and a costed 24/7 shift roster (first 3 months).Win and contract the practice's first paying reference client to establish proof of delivery (months 3–9).Recruit, hire, and certify the L1/L2 analyst core plus a security engineer, and stand up genuine round-the-clock coverage (months 6–12).Convert delivery engagements into multi-year, subscription-based managed-SOC contracts to build a recurring revenue base (months 12–18).Lead the practice toward ISO 27001 certification and ensure alignment with Bangladesh Bank / relevant regulatory ICT guidelines to unlock BFSI clients (months 12–18).Own the Cybersecurity practice P&L: pricing, margin, tooling and vendor selection, and hiring decisions.Represent the practice at C-suite and board level with clients and prospects.Develop annual, quarterly and monthly sales plans and maintain a healthy pipeline at 3–5× the revenue target, monitoring forecast accuracy and conversion.Build strategic relationships with CIOs, CISOs, CTOs, IT Heads and senior management, and drive cross-selling and upselling within existing accounts by converting customer pain points into cybersecurity opportunities.Lead the cybersecurity pre-sales function and enterprise solution sales through strategic account plans, and pursue enterprise and government opportunities including tenders, RFPs and RFQs.Educational RequirementsBachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science & EngineeringCISSP or CISM certification, current and held.Skills Required: CyberSecurityExperience RequirementsAt least 7 year(s)The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Software Company, IT Enabled Service, BPO/ Data Entry Firm, Call CenterAdditional RequirementsHas personally built a Security Operations Centre (SOC) from the ground up — not simply inherited or operated an existing one.Proven track record carrying a revenue or P&L target within a services business, in addition to technical delivery.Strong regulatory fluency in Bangladesh / regional compliance requirements (Bangladesh Bank ICT guidelines, local data protection rules).Hands-on depth with a major SIEM platform (Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, or equivalent), with the ability to architect and audit the platform.Demonstrated success recruiting, developing, and retaining senior technical security talent.Comfortable and credible presenting to C-suite executives and boards.
