Job SummaryLead the Cybersecurity Engineering function and ensure the effective implementation, operation, integration, and continuous improvement of the organization’s cybersecurity solutions. The role provides technical leadership to the cybersecurity team and works closely with business units, IT teams, GRC/Risk, vendors, and external customers.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the Cybersecurity Engineering team, including task assignment, prioritization, performance, and delivery.Own and manage enterprise cybersecurity solutions, including SIEM, EDR/XDR, DLP, NDR, CTI, IAM/PAM, Encryption, DAM, FIM, Sandbox, and related security technologies.Lead the implementation, configuration, integration, upgrade, optimization, and health assessment of cybersecurity platforms.Develop and maintain cybersecurity technical standards, procedures, architecture documents, and operational processes.Lead cybersecurity projects from technical requirements through implementation, testing, handover, and operational support.Prepare and manage RFPs, RFQs, technical requirements, evaluation criteria, and vendor technical assessments.Manage cybersecurity vendors and service providers and monitor technical deliverables, SLAs, and contractual obligations.Work closely with GRC and Risk Management teams to identify cybersecurity risks, assess security gaps, and drive remediation activities.Collaborate with business teams to understand requirements and provide appropriate cybersecurity solutions.Support onboarding teams by reviewing security requirements and ensuring appropriate cybersecurity controls are implemented for new services and projects.Work closely with SOC, Infrastructure, Network, Cloud, Application, and IT teams to implement and maintain security controls.Manage and support managed security services and external customers, including customer onboarding, technical implementation, service reviews, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.Provide advanced technical support to SOC and Incident Response teams for security incidents, investigations, and troubleshooting.Develop and optimize security integrations, monitoring capabilities, detection use cases, and security controls.Conduct periodic security solution reviews and identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and improvement.Ensure cybersecurity solutions remain aligned with business requirements, security strategy, policies, and regulatory requirements.Prepare technical reports, management updates, KPIs, and recommendations for cybersecurity services and projects.Stay current with emerging cybersecurity technologies, threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.5+ years of relevant cybersecurity experience, with proven experience in a senior engineering or technical leadership position.Strong experience managing multiple enterprise cybersecurity technologies and security platforms.Experience with managed security services and external customer management is highly desirable.Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GIAC, Security+, or equivalent are preferred.
