The center offers classroom-based courses and supports learners who wish to bring their online studies to Dubai, combining education with the city’s unique cultural experience. In addition to language training, Students Everywhere runs a Work Preparation Programme that equips learners with tools and guidance to enter the local job market. The team actively supports students in finding employment to complement their studies or begin their careers in Dubai or in their home countries. A close-knit group of dedicated teachers and coordinators accompanies students throughout their journey, from arrival to completion of their language program. Role DescriptionThe Danish Teacher will deliver engaging, learner-centered Danish language lessons to individuals and groups at various proficiency levels. This on-site role involves planning and delivering lessons, assessing learner progress, and providing constructive feedback. The teacher will design and adapt teaching materials, support exam preparation, and integrate cultural aspects of Denmark and Nordic regions into instruction. Daily duties include maintaining accurate learner records, collaborating with coordinators and other teachers, participating in staff meetings and training, and contributing to the Work Preparation Programme by helping students apply their language skills in professional contexts. The role requires consistent classroom presence, proactive communication with learners, and participation in occasional events or workshops organized by the training center. Core ResponsibilitiesInstructional Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality, interactive Danish language lessons tailored to both individual students and groups across different proficiency levels. Curriculum & Materials: Design, adapt, and implement creative teaching materials and lesson plans that align with established curriculum frameworks. Assessment & Feedback: Evaluate student performance regularly, administer proficiency assessments, and offer constructive feedback to foster language development. Exam Preparation: Guide and support students preparing for official Danish language proficiency examinations or employment-related certifications. Cultural Integration: Infuse teaching with cultural contexts, traditions, and societal nuances of Denmark to create an immersive learning atmosphere. Work Preparation Support: Contribute actively to the Work Preparation Programme by assisting students in applying their Danish language skills to real-world professional contexts, business communication, and Danish workplace culture. Administration & Collaboration: Maintain precise, up-to-date academic and attendance records for all learners. Collaborate closely with instructional coordinators and fellow educators. Center Engagement: Participate in mandatory staff meetings, professional development workshops, and occasional center-sponsored student events.Qualifications & RequirementsTeaching Expertise: Strong Danish language teaching skills with a proven track record of managing diverse proficiency levels (Beginner to Advanced). Educational Background: Solid foundation in Education and Training, including expertise in lesson planning, curriculum implementation, and learner-centered methodologies. Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to build professional relationships with students and staff.
