We are delighted to be partnering with a fast-growing, private equity-backed financial services business as they build out their central data capability. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced data professional to become the organisation's first dedicated Data & Analytics Lead, helping to shape the future of data and reporting across a rapidly expanding national business.The OpportunityThis is a rare blend of hands-on delivery and strategic influence. You'll take ownership of the day-to-day data and analytics function, transforming data from multiple business systems into trusted reporting, dashboards and actionable business insight, while helping define the long-term data strategy.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain robust data pipelines, integrations and reconciliation processes across multiple business-critical systems.Build insightful KPIs, management information and Power BI dashboards that support operational and strategic decision-making.Drive data quality, governance and control frameworks to ensure a trusted single source of truth.Support financial and executive reporting with accurate, timely and meaningful analytics.Lead the design and execution of data migration and onboarding processes for newly acquired businesses.Contribute to future-state data architecture, platform selection and data strategy as the business scales.Play a key role in building and shaping a future data team.Partner closely with senior stakeholders across technology, finance and the wider business.About YouEssential skills/experience:Strong hands-on SQL and data engineering skillsAdvanced Power BI expertise, including data modelling and DAX.Experience delivering business reporting, managing data quality, and building scalable data solutionsExperience of SnowflakeAdvantageous:Experience within financial services industryExperience of data migrations and/or system onboarding,Python or modern cloud data platforms would be advantageous (eg Fabric/Databricks)Why Apply?This role offers genuine career progression and the chance to build a data function from the ground up within a high-growth organisation.
