Data & Analytics Manager
Talent · Swindon, England, United Kingdom
قدّم وتابع مع أبلاي إيدجA multi-brand retail group is hiring someone to lead its data, analytics and AI function. This is a data team that sits close to the commercial engine. Price elasticity modelling, profitability analysis through the budget cycle, and measurement of a retail media network selling advertising space to the brands they stock, across the store estate as well as online. All three already feed decisions the business acts on.Why it's worth a lookThe work has consequences. What this team produces shapes what products cost, where margin comes from, and what brands are told their campaigns delivered. Very little of it lands in a monthly pack that nobody reads. The AI is real. They've already shipped an internal tool that indexes company policy and are using AI to shorten the path from data to decision, rather than writing strategy decks about it.The scope grows. It's a small team now, with the wider data function expected to come together under this role as the business scales. You'd be shaping what it becomes rather than inheriting someone else's version of it.Who it suitsSomeone who's led a small analytics team and is comfortable in the data themselves. You'll have a strong digital analytics background, Adobe or GA4, and commercial modelling somewhere in your history: pricing, profitability, forecasting or attribution. The hiring manager cares most about one thing: can you do the analysis and then stand up and explain it to a leadership team. Depth and articulacy in the same person. The team works 3-days per week on-site from their HQ in Swindon. Salary ~£75K but open to negotiation for the right person.
