Developing projects across a wide range of industries—including Banking, Telecommunications, Healthcare, Retail, Energy, Insurance, and Aviation—we have created an environment where the brightest inquiring minds feel at home, providing our people with the means, opportunities, and support they need to thrive and innovate.We are seeking mid-to-senior level Data & BI Engineers eager to take on new challenges in Lisbon or Porto, integrated into our Data Partner Marketing & Sales team working closely with Information Systems (CoE Data).Are you the one?Solid experience as a Data Engineer or BI Specialist, with a focus on designing and building data models for Business Intelligence.Expert-level proficiency in SQL across relational databases, Hadoop technologies, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).Strong ability to translate complex business requirements into technical KPIs and metrics (e.g., rates, weights, volumes, business targets), and conversely to translate code logic into business insights.Proven track record working with Customer Management KPIs (core metrics, retention, base management) or operational customer journey workflows.Experience supporting Artificial Intelligence initiatives, including data delivery for AI models, operationalising AI outputs, and driving Next Best Action (NBA), Next Best Offer (NBO), and multi-channel campaign projects.Rigorous approach to data validation, output analysis, and content accuracy through ongoing dialogue with business stakeholders.Strong business acumen and the ability to interact directly with business hubs to understand strategic goals.Experience working under Agile methodologies, managing backlogs, and balancing dynamic, high-priority demands.Strong estimation, expectation management, and communication skills, with the assertiveness to prioritize requests and manage project delivery timelines effectively.We believe we are the ones, by:Providing a multidisciplinary Team.Giving a home office kit with everything you need to perform remotely.Ensuring a career plan alongside professional growth.Providing you with a custom training plan.Helping you reach happiness.Oh… and by the way, we also have:Several challenging complex projects.Stimulating teams and leaders.World-class Clients and Partners.If you believe in this match as much as we do, send us your CV to lia.giannone@closer.pt and reach the closer side of life.Closer is a company that values diversity and inclusion.
