Location: NOIDAEmployment Type: Full-timePrimary Skills: SQL, Power BI, Excel, Financial Analysis, Business AnalysisJob SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Data & Business Analyst who can analyze business and financial data, audit reports, identify discrepancies, and provide meaningful insights to support management decision-making.The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with SQL, Microsoft Excel, Power BI, financial reporting, reconciliations, and business analysis.

The candidate must be able to work independently, understand business requirements, and convert data into accurate reports and actionable recommendations.Key ResponsibilitiesExtract, analyze, and validate data using SQL.Write queries using joins, subqueries, CTEs, aggregations, temporary tables, and window functions.Prepare and maintain financial, operational, and management reports.Audit financial data and reconcile information from multiple sources.Analyze P&L, revenue, costs, accounts receivable, collections, DSO, WIP, and other business metrics.Perform month-over-month, quarter-over-quarter, year-over-year, and forecast-versus-actual variance analysis.Identify data discrepancies, unusual trends, duplicate records, and reporting errors.Develop and maintain dashboards using Power BI.Use Excel for pivot tables, lookups, formulas, reconciliations, charts, and data analysis.Gather business requirements and translate them into reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions.Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting and reconciliation activities.Present findings and recommendations clearly to management and business stakeholders.Maintain documentation for reports, queries, dashboards, and business processes.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.4–5 years of relevant experience in data analysis, business analysis, financial reporting, business intelligence, or audit analytics.Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases.Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI, including dashboards, Power Query, data modeling, and DAX.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookup functions, conditional formulas, charts, and reconciliations.Experience with financial reporting, variance analysis, data validation, and reconciliations.Ability to audit financial data and investigate reporting discrepancies.Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and manage deadlines independently.Preferred QualificationsExperience working with financial, ERP, CRM, billing, payroll, ATS or operational data.Knowledge of P&L, AR, WIP, collections, provisions, DSO, forecasting, and budgeting.Experience with Power Automate, Excel VBA/macros, Python, or other automation tools.Experience in an IT service, consulting, staffing, or multinational organization.Key SkillsSQL and data analysisFinancial reporting and auditPower BI and dashboard developmentAdvanced ExcelReconciliation and variance analysisBusiness requirements gatheringData quality managementProcess automationStakeholder communication
