Job SummaryThe ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SQL and data analysis, with hands-on experience working with Teradata, Python, and modern data visualization tools such as Power BI. You will be responsible for transforming data into actionable insights that support business decision-making.Key ResponsibilitiesExtract, clean, and analyze large datasets using SQL and TeradataDevelop, maintain, and optimize data queries and reports for business usePerform data analysis using Python (Pandas, NumPy, etc.) to derive meaningful insightsCreate interactive dashboards and visualizations using Power BI or similar toolsWork closely with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver actionable insightsIdentify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to support business strategiesAutomate recurring reports and improve efficiency of data processesEnsure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across reports and dashboardsRequired Skills & Qualifications3–5 years of experience in data analytics or related rolesStrong expertise in SQL and working with large datasetsExperience with Teradata or similar data warehousing platformsProficiency in Python for data analysis and automationHands-on experience with data visualization tools (Power BI preferred)Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to translate complex data into simple, actionable insightsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsIf this sounds like you then apply today!If you’re interested or know someone who might be — feel free to send an updated resume to reshu@hays.com.au.
