These forecasts support network planning, investments, reinvestments, customer dialogue and future development of the electricity network.You’ll play an important role in moving forecasting further towards automated, data-driven processes, using Python, Databricks, Power BI and modern data analysis techniques.What you’ll doAutomate forecasting processes using Python in Databricks.Analyse customer and time-series data to improve forecasting methodologies.Build and enhance Power BI reports, including data modelling and calculations.Update power forecasts for specific areas and translate results into actionable insights.Collect, combine and validate data from multiple sources.Perform data quality assurance and investigate data availability and reliability.Communicate findings and insights clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.Collaborate within a multidisciplinary, agile product team.Essential skills & experience2+ years’ experience working with data analysis, particularly customer and/or time-series data.2+ years’ experience with Python or a similar programming language, with a focus on efficient, maintainable code.Hands-on experience with Power BI, including reporting and data visualisation.Experience with data manipulation, data modelling and reporting.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to communicate complex data and insights clearly to stakeholders.Experience within the electricity network, energy or a closely related industry.Professional Swedish language skills.Based in, or able to work from, Stockholm.Preferred skillsExperience with forecasting and/or insight generation.Experience working in agile/Scrum teams.Experience with SQL or equivalent data-querying technologies.Exposure to AI/ML and its application to data analysis or forecasting.Experience working with Databricks.Knowledge of energy systems, electricity networks or power forecasting.
