Job Description: Full-time 3-months Internship (with possibility to get hired thereafter full-time with 1 year contract)Data Analyst/ BI Developer We are a boutique consulting company focused on Sales & Pricing improvements for small and medium sized companies. Our core focus lies in sales & pricing. We do this through traditional 3-4 months Consulting projects but also with 6-12+ months AI & automation support engagements.. We combine a top-tier management consulting approach with a strong focus on pragmatically implementing. We operate on the C-level to set strategic direction and on the ground level to get things done. We have a de-centralized organization and work the majority of our time remote, but meet 1-2 days per week at a client site or at another location to work together in person as a team as well. We are looking for someone to strengthen our team for 3 months as an intern and potentially longer as a full time employee. You will work in an entrepreneurial environment and shape impulssum’s future together with us. In this role, you'll help us further develop a data-driven, AI-enabled product. Working closely with our Co-Founders (one a Senior Data Architect, the other ex-BCG with a strong commercial background), you'll sit at the intersection of data analysis and data engineering — bridging our back-end data with business logic. You'll build on existing data insights, develop new ones, and create AI-powered insights that deliver real value to our customers. Next to that, we may include you for 20-50% of your week on projects as well (only in case needed).We look for an intern for 3 months with the possibility to get hired thereafter full time (1-year contract).  Typical duties include: ·      Product development·        Pull data from CRM systems, billing systems, and other data sources·        Structure and consolidate this data into a unified dataset·        Define the key reports and insights we want to extract from the data. Combine these into PowerBI dashboards·        Build an AI logic on top of the data to create personalized, actionable improvement reports for each salesperson ·        Determine the right way to share this information (app, email, format, presentation, etc.)·        Understand how our CRM (Salesforce) works and improve how we use it·        Create sales collaterals from the tool that you helped us build ·      Consulting work·        Support one or several consulting projects, mainly with data analysis·        Own the analysis and drive insights generation·        Break down and structure the customer problem ·        Create conclusions and support on presenting back to the client·        Contribute to the wider business through business development, knowledge sharing, coaching and other activitiesWe try to work 1-2 days per week together. We also spend some time on-site with the client for important meetings.Skills & Experience·      Strong knowledge of SQL and DAX (a programming language such as Python or M-code are a plus)·      Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Power BI·      Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and/or Snowflake is a plus·      Proficiency in MS PowerPoint and Excel is a plus (not required)·      Drive and motivation to continuously develop new knowledge and skills·      Strong people and client management skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds and with differing viewpoints·      Interest in commercial topics (prior experience not required) ·      Professional level of English.
