Data Analyst – Microsoft Power Platform Hybrid from Kraków. Role Overview We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to transform complex data into actionable business insights, automate operational processes, and develop user-friendly business applications. The successful candidate will work extensively with the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate, while also using Excel, SQL, and Python to support data analysis, reporting, and process improvement initiatives. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators and business performance.Build and optimize data models, measures, and calculations using DAX.Use Power Automate to streamline repetitive tasks, automate workflows, and improve operational efficiency.Develop and maintain custom business applications using Power Apps.Collect, clean, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources.Use advanced Excel functionalities, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP, Power Query, and complex formulas.Write SQL queries to extract, combine, and analyze data from databases.Use Python, including libraries such as Pandas and NumPy, to automate data processing and support advanced analysis.Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting, automation, and application requirements.Translate business needs into practical and scalable technical solutions.Present analytical findings and technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Identify opportunities to improve existing reporting processes, workflows, and data quality. Required Skills and QualificationsPrevious professional experience in a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, Reporting Analyst, or similar role.Strong experience with Power BI, including data modelling, DAX, dashboard creation, and data visualisation.Practical experience with Power Apps and Power Automate.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP or VLOOKUP, Power Query, and data analysis.Working knowledge of SQL, including writing queries, joins, filters, and data extraction.Basic to intermediate Python knowledge for data manipulation and automation, preferably using Pandas and NumPy.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to interpret complex datasets and translate findings into clear business recommendations.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to explain technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Preferred QualificationsExperience developing end-to-end reporting, automation, or business application solutions.Experience working directly with business stakeholders to gather and define requirements.Proactive approach to identifying process improvement and automation opportunities.Experience working with data from multiple systems or sources.Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
