About the RoleChedid Capital Group is a leading investment group in the (re)insurance industry with an extensive presence of 80-plus subsidiaries, powered by 1,700-plus employees across more than 85 countries in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia.Through its diverse portfolio spanning (re)insurance, risk advisory, and education, the Group has built one of the industry's most dynamic networks, combining global scale and local market expertise.Chedid Capital is looking for a Data Analyst responsible for conducting data modeling, data mining, analytics, and business intelligence across all core applications of Chedid Capital. The primary goal is to design and build a centralized data repository, develop ETL processes, and generate actionable insights from large datasets.Responsibilities:Build a company-wide platform for integrating, analyzing, and deriving insights from vast data sets.Design and maintain databases and data warehouses, ensuring the data is clean and well-organized.Supervise all data analytics / BI projects across the group, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.Design and build integrated graphical Dashboards based on defined KPIs.Prepare complex reports for key stakeholders that effectively communicate trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data.Use tools to analyze Big Data, paying particular attention to trends and patterns that could be valuable for diagnostic and predictive analytics efforts.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics, or similar field. Master’s degree is a plus.2 to 4 years of experience as Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst.Expertise in data cleansing, data modeling, data mining, and segmentation techniques.Strong knowledge and experience in BI and graphical reporting packages (e.g., Business Objects, Power BI, Tableau, etc.), databases (Microsoft SQL, Oracle, etc.), data warehouses, and ETL frameworks.Advanced expertise in SQL querying, database design, and database integration.Knowledge of at least 1 programming language (e.g., C#, Java, etc.) and familiarity with system integrations and APIs.Knowledge of at least 1 Big Data framework (e.g., Hadoop).Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent communication skills. Fluency in English and French is required.Knowledge of insurance and insurance-related system is a plus.
