Data Analyst

Data AnalystOur client, a well-established provider of housing services, is looking for a Data Analyst to join their Business Intelligence team.This is an opportunity to play a key role in transforming data into meaningful insight that supports better decision-making, improves services, and drives organisational performance. Working in a hybrid environment, you'll partner with stakeholders across the business to develop reports, dashboards, and analysis that influence strategy and service delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and deliver regular and ad-hoc reports, dashboards and management information.Extract, cleanse, model and analyse data from multiple systems.Create clear data visualisations using Power BI and Excel.Identify trends, performance insights and opportunities for service improvement.Support the development of reporting frameworks and data quality initiatives.Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable insights.Help automate reporting processes and improve the efficiency of data collection.What We're Looking ForExperience in a Data Analyst or Business Intelligence role.Strong analytical skills with experience extracting, cleaning and interpreting data.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.Experience using Power BI for reporting and dashboard development.Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data to non-technical audiences.Strong attention to detail and a passion for improving data quality.DesirableSQL experience.Experience within housing, local government, or the wider public sector.Experience with housing management systems such as Open Housing.Knowledge of data protection and information governance.If you're passionate about using data to deliver meaningful business insight and enjoy working with stakeholders to solve complex challenges, we'd love to hear from you.
