Data Analyst

About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Data & Testing Analyst to join our project team in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in data migration, data cleansing, validation, reconciliation, reporting, and ERP testing. The role will involve ensuring data quality, supporting migration activities, executing SIT/UAT, and managing defects throughout the project lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport end-to-end data migration activities, including data extraction, transformation, cleansing, validation, and loading.Perform data quality checks, validation, reconciliation, and completeness checks across source and target systems.Analyze data discrepancies and coordinate with relevant teams to resolve data issues.Prepare and maintain data validation and reconciliation reports.Support ERP implementation projects by validating migrated data and business processes.Develop and execute SIT (System Integration Testing) and UAT (User Acceptance Testing) test scenarios and test cases.Document test results, identify defects, and ensure timely resolution.Manage defect tracking and reporting, including defect logging, prioritization, retesting, and closure.Work closely with business users, functional consultants, technical teams, and project stakeholders.Prepare testing dashboards, status reports, and data analysis reports using Microsoft Excel.Maintain accurate project documentation, test evidence, reconciliation reports, and migration trackers.Identify potential data and process risks and proactively recommend solutions.Support project teams during cutover, go-live, and post-go-live validation activities.Required Skills & Experience4–7 years of relevant experience in Data Migration, Data Analysis, Reporting, ERP Testing, or a similar role.Strong hands-on experience in:Data CleansingData ValidationData ReconciliationData MigrationData Analysis & ReportingProven experience executing SIT and UAT.Strong understanding of defect management and tracking.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, reconciliation, lookups, pivot tables, and reporting.Experience working on ERP implementation or transformation projects is preferred.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.
