Data AnalystLondon | Hybrid working | Up to £40,000Must be in the South / South East of the UK.No sponsorship available Method Resourcing is partnering with an established international business to recruit a Data Analyst for its growing data team.This is a varied role combining data analysis, reporting and stakeholder support. You will work across different areas of the business, helping teams understand their data, improve reporting and turn information into clear, practical insights.You will also contribute to several wider data projects as the business improves how information is collected, managed and presented.What you will be doing1. Responding to data and reporting requests from teams across the business2. Using SQL to query and analyse data from multiple sources3. Creating dashboards, reports and visualisations for business stakeholders4. Working with data from sales, marketing, finance, events and other commercial systems5. Supporting the improvement of reporting processes across the organisation6. Investigating data quality and reporting issues7. Working with Data Engineers to identify problems and support appropriate solutions8. Contributing to wider business intelligence and company reporting projectsWhat we are looking for1. Commercial experience working as a Data Analyst, BI Analyst, Reporting Analyst or similar2. Good SQL knowledge and strong analytical problem solving skills3. Experience using a data visualisation platform such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker or ThoughtSpot4. Confidence using Google Sheets or Excel, including formulas and data manipulation5. The ability to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non technical stakeholders6. A curious approach and the confidence to investigate why data or reporting may be incorrectExperience with any of the following would be particularly useful1. GCP or BigQuery2. ThoughtSpot3. Salesforce or other CRM platforms4. Marketing and sales data5. Financial reporting, including revenue, costs, budgets or forecasting6. Media, events, publishing, training or consulting environmentsYou do not need to have every preferred technology listed.
