This organisation is investing heavily in data-driven decision making and requires a Data Analyst to support key business outcomes across a range of strategic projects. You'll work in a collaborative environment alongside business stakeholders, project teams, and data professionals to deliver valuable insights and support data quality initiatives.Your new role As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analysing complex datasets, producing meaningful insights, and supporting business-critical reporting and data initiatives. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements, perform detailed data analysis, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of data across multiple systems.Key responsibilities include:Extracting, analysing, and validating data using SQL.Developing reports and insights to support business decision-making.Performing data profiling, reconciliation, and quality checks.Translating business requirements into analytical solutions.Investigating data issues and identifying opportunities for process improvement.Collaborating with business and technology stakeholders to deliver data-related outcomes.Supporting project delivery across a range of operational, customer, and regulatory initiatives.What you'll need to succeed 3+ years' experience working as a Data Analyst.Strong SQL skills with the ability to analyse and manipulate large datasets.Experience gathering and interpreting business requirements.Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.Experience performing data validation, reconciliation, and reporting activities.Highly desirable:Previous experience using Teradata.Banking or financial services experience.Exposure to regulatory, risk, compliance, remediation, or customer data projects.Experience working within large enterprise environments.Agile delivery experience.What you'll get in return Competitive daily rate contract.Initial 12-month engagement with extension potential.Opportunity to work on large-scale enterprise data initiatives.Hybrid working environment.Exposure to senior stakeholders and complex data platforms.
