The role requires strong analytical thinking, hands-on expertise in SQL, Python, and Tableau, and the ability to work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable data-driven solutions.The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with large and diverse datasets, identifying trends and patterns, developing analytical reports and dashboards, and communicating insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.RequirementsKey ResponsibilitiesExtract, transform, analyse, and interpret data from multiple sources to support business decision-makingWrite efficient and complex SQL queries to retrieve, join, aggregate, and analyse large datasetsDevelop analytical scripts and automation solutions using Python for data processing, validation, analysis, and reportingClean, transform, and prepare datasets while identifying and resolving data-quality issuesDevelop interactive and user-friendly Tableau dashboards, reports, and visualisationsDefine and track key performance indicators (KPIs), business metrics, and analytical measuresAnalyse trends, patterns, anomalies, and performance indicators to identify actionable insightsWork with stakeholders to understand business problems and translate requirements into analytical solutionsPerform ad hoc analysis to answer business questions and support strategic and operational initiativesBuild recurring reports and automate manual reporting processes wherever possibleValidate analytical outputs and ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of reports and dashboardsMaintain clear documentation of data sources, queries, calculations, dashboards, and analytical methodologiesCollaborate with data engineers and technology teams to improve data availability, accessibility, and qualityIdentify opportunities to improve existing dashboards, reporting processes, and analytical workflowsSupport data-driven decision-making by presenting findings and recommendations to stakeholdersMonitor business metrics and proactively highlight significant changes, trends, and potential risksConduct root-cause analysis to understand performance gaps and operational issuesFollow established data governance, security, and reporting standardsStay updated with modern analytics techniques, data visualisation practices, and emerging analytical toolsWhat Makes You a Great Fit3+ years of professional experience in data analytics, business intelligence, reporting, or a related analytical roleStrong hands-on expertise in SQL, including complex joins, subqueries, CTEs, aggregations, window functions, and query optimisationStrong proficiency in Python for data analysis, automation, data manipulation, and analytical workflowsExtensive practical experience creating Tableau dashboards, reports, calculated fields, filters, parameters, and interactive visualisationsStrong understanding of data cleaning, transformation, validation, and exploratory data analysisExperience working with large datasets and multiple data sourcesStrong understanding of statistics, analytical methodologies, and data interpretationAbility to translate business requirements into meaningful metrics, reports, dashboards, and analytical solutionsStrong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with excellent attention to detailAbility to identify patterns, trends, anomalies, and actionable business insights from dataExperience automating recurring reports and manual analytical processes using Python or other toolsStrong understanding of data visualisation principles and the ability to communicate insights effectivelyExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical findings to non-technical stakeholdersAbility to manage multiple analytical requests, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlinesExperience working collaboratively with business, product, technology, and data teamsA Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related discipline is preferred
