Data Analyst – Reporting & Visualisation

Location: London – HybridSalary: £50,000–£60,000We are seeking a Consultant, Data Analyst – Reporting & Visualisation to join a leading change and transformation consultancy within its Technology & Data Practice.

Working with clients across a range of transformation programmes, you'll help turn data into clear insights that support better business decisions.As a Consultant Data Analyst, you'll combine strong technical capability across Power BI, SQL, data visualisation and data modelling with the ability to work directly with clients and translate complex data into clear, actionable outcomes.Key Responsibilities as a Consultant, Data AnalystDesign and develop high-quality Power BI reports, dashboards and visualisations.Build and maintain semantic and dimensional data models, working across the data lifecycle.Work closely with Data Engineers, Architects and Product Owners to support end-to-end data solutions.Engage directly with clients to understand requirements and translate them into actionable reporting solutions.Analyse datasets to identify trends, risks and opportunities and support executive decision-making.Identify and resolve data quality issues impacting reporting and insights.Support data governance, metric definitions, data ownership and data cataloguing activities.Create clear client deliverables and support adoption through training and enablement.Experience you'll need as a Consultant, Data AnalystStrong commercial experience with Power BI and data visualisation.Strong SQL skills for data extraction, transformation and analysis.Experience with data modelling, including Star Schema and Kimball principles.Understanding of Data Warehousing, Lakehouse and Medallion architectures.3 years of work experience in a consulting or client-facing environment.Ability to work independently across reporting and analytics workstreams.Experience collaborating with Data Engineers, Architects and Product Owners.Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP.Experience with Tableau, Looker or Microsoft Fabric.Experience supporting data governance, metadata and business glossary activities.What's on Offer£50,000–£60,000 salaryFlexible time offPrivate medical planHealth cash planEnhanced parental leaveOpportunity to work on impactful data and transformation programmes.Career development within a growing Technology & Data Practice.If you're looking for an opportunity to combine data analytics, visualisation and client engagement while helping organisations turn data into meaningful business outcomes, we'd love to hear from you.Hit apply or get in touch with Anson McCade for a confidential discussion.AMC/SHI/DARV
