About the CompanyAmeri-Partners is seeking a Data Analyst to support data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence initiatives within a healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and experience working with healthcare, clinical, claims, operational, or financial data.About the RoleThe Healthcare Data Analyst will support data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence initiatives within a healthcare environment, working with various types of healthcare-related data to generate insights and support decision-making.ResponsibilitiesAnalyze large healthcare datasets to identify trends, patterns, performance metrics, and actionable insights.Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools.Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, validation, and analysis.Work with healthcare data including claims, EHR/EMR, patient, provider, clinical, operational, and financial data.Perform data cleansing, reconciliation, validation, and quality checks.Develop KPIs and metrics to support clinical, operational, and business decision-making.Collaborate with business, clinical, IT, and data teams to understand reporting and analytics requirements.Identify data discrepancies and support root-cause analysis.Create recurring and ad-hoc reports for stakeholders.Maintain appropriate data privacy and security practices in accordance with HIPAA requirements.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, Statistics, or a related field.Experience with SQL and relational databases.Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or similar reporting tools.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.Understanding of healthcare data and terminology is preferred.Experience with Python or R is a plus.Knowledge of EHR/EMR, healthcare claims, ICD-10, CPT, HL7/FHIR, Medicare/Medicaid, or payer/provider data is a plus.Strong communication skills with the ability to translate data into clear business insights.Required SkillsExperience with SQL and relational databases.Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or similar reporting tools.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.Strong communication skills with the ability to translate data into clear business insights.Preferred SkillsUnderstanding of healthcare data and terminology is preferred.Experience with Python or R is a plus.Knowledge of EHR/EMR, healthcare claims, ICD-10, CPT, HL7/FHIR, Medicare/Medicaid, or payer/provider data is a plus.
