Candidates must reside within commuting distance of the National Capital Region (NCR).
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing dashboards and analytics solutions using Qlik Sense or Foundry, querying large datasets in Databricks, and analyzing Federal Financial Management (FM) data.This position requires a combination of strong technical analytics capabilities and an understanding of Federal financial processes. The Data Analyst will work with financial, functional, technical, and leadership stakeholders to transform complex datasets into actionable insights, dashboards, reports, reconciliations, and key performance indicators.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions within the Advana platform.Design interactive data visualizations and reporting solutions using Qlik Sense or Foundry.Query, analyze, aggregate, and validate large datasets within Databricks.Use advanced SQL to extract, transform, reconcile, and analyze data from multiple data sources.Use Python for data analysis, scripting, automation, and data-quality activities.Analyze Federal Financial Management data to identify trends, anomalies, discrepancies, and performance indicators.Perform financial data reconciliations across systems and datasets.Support financial audit readiness and control activities, including SOC-1-related analysis and documentation.Develop and monitor financial reporting metrics and KPIs.Support analysis of budget execution, financial reporting, and financial management processes within a DoW environment.Translate business and financial requirements into technical analytics solutions.Perform data validation and quality assurance to ensure reporting accuracy and consistency.Work collaboratively with financial management SMEs, data engineers, data scientists, system owners, and other stakeholders.Present analytical findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.Document data sources, calculations, business rules, reporting logic, and analytical methodologies.Required QualificationsProven experience developing dashboards and analytics solutions within Advana.Hands-on experience building data visualizations and reports using Qlik Sense or Foundry. This experience is mandatory.Experience querying and analyzing large datasets within Databricks.Direct experience working with Federal Financial Management data.Experience performing data reconciliations.Experience supporting financial audit readiness or control activities, including SOC-1-related efforts.Familiarity with financial reporting, budget execution, and KPI development within a DoW environment.Advanced proficiency in SQL.Proficiency in Python for data analysis and scripting.Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and actionable insights.Strong understanding of data-visualization best practices.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to communicate complex analytical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Interim Secret clearance or higher.Preferred QualificationsExperience with SAP data structures and financial data.Direct Navy Financial Management (FM) experience.Experience supporting DoW financial transformation, audit readiness, or financial-management modernization initiatives.Experience integrating or analyzing data from multiple Federal financial systems.Familiarity with Navy ERP or similar Federal ERP environments.Key Technologies & SkillsAdvana | Qlik Sense | Foundry | Databricks | SQL | Python | Federal Financial Management | Data Visualization | Financial Reporting | Budget Execution | Data Reconciliation | Audit Readiness | SOC-1 | KPIs | SAP | Navy FMSecurity ClearanceCandidates must possess an Interim Secret clearance or higher and maintain the required clearance throughout the period of performance.
