- Write SQL to pull and combine ad, app and revenue data, using window functions, CTEs and date-based rollups.
- Build and maintain dashboards for key metrics such as revenue, eCPM, fill rate, CTR, installs and cost per install.
- Analyze trends by country, platform, app and demand partner, and explain why a number moved.
- Clean and explore data in Python (pandas and NumPy): handle missing values and duplicates, aggregate data and spot outliers.
- Design and analyze A/B tests on ad placements, formats and pricing, and give a clear go/no go recommendation backed by numbers.
- Flag unusual traffic or sudden changes in key metrics, and work with Ad Ops to investigate them.
- Turn findings into short write-ups and recommendations that non-technical teams can act on.
- Improve data quality by defining metrics consistently and documenting where each number comes from. What We're Looking For
- Experience: 2–5 years in a data analyst or similar analytics role.
- SQL (strong): Joins, GROUP BY, CTEs, window functions (RANK, LAG, running totals) and date logic. You write queries that stay correct when data is missing or duplicated.
- Python for analysis: pandas and NumPy for filtering, groupby, pivot tables, handling missing values and exploratory data analysis (EDA).
- Statistics: Means vs. medians, distributions and outliers, confidence intervals, p-values and A/B testing fundamentals, including common pitfalls such as multiple testing and skewed data.
- Dashboards: Hands-on experience with at least one BI tool, such as Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI or Metabase.
- Problem solving: You break a vague question into clear steps and sanity-check your answer before sharing it.
- Communication: You explain findings in plain language, with one clear chart and one clear recommendation.
- Education: A degree in a quantitative field (engineering, statistics, mathematics, economics or computer science), or equivalent experience.Nice to Have
- Experience in ad-tech, mobile apps, gaming or another high-volume digital business.
- Familiarity with ad metrics and concepts: eCPM, fill rate, ARPDAU, mediation, programmatic auctions and invalid traffic.
