Data Analyst

As a Data Analyst, you advise and help Pon’s companies get more out of their data. While Pon’s overarching data teams work across a wide range of global mobility products, your team specifically focuses on supporting our American business units.You will act as an internal consultant for our renowned US-based brands, including the IndiGO Auto Group, as well as our premium bicycle and mobility brands such as Cervelo, Santa Cruz, Nimbl and Mike's Bikes.Because our subsidiaries operate with a high degree of independence, your ability to understand this unique structure and balance different organizational interests is crucial. You will support the team by executing in-depth analyses, building robust data models, and exploring AI applications under the guidance of Senior team members.About the organization and the team You will strengthen the US Datalab Hub, an extension of the Dutch-based Pon Datalab. The Datalab consists of three expertise teams: Data, Tech, and Innovation. Together, we help the various Pon companies use data and technology smartly for their future plans. You will ensure our analyses and models always rest on a reliable, scalable data structure using modern tools like dbt.Stakeholder Engagement: Acting as a bridge to the business. While prior business contact experience is a plus, we are primarily looking for someone who is eager to learn and not hesitant to talk directly to business stakeholders to ask the right, clarifying questions.Agentic AI: Exploring and implementing Agentic AI applications, investigating how these innovative techniques can add concrete value to our different US brands.Quality & Delivery: Taking responsibility for delivering high-quality and accurate analytical work within agreed deadlines.Team Collaboration: Actively contributing ideas during projects and assisting in presentations. You regularly ask for feedback to develop a clear and convincing presentation style.What we ask of you We are looking for an optimistic and eager-to-learn go-getter with business acumen, who thinks in solutions and makes work fun for the team. Furthermore, you have:A Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science or other closely-related study.1-3 years of Data Analyst experience.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Extensive experience with SQL and strong knowledge of database handling and data transformations.Experience with visualization tools (such as Tableau or Streamlit).Strong affinity or experience with data modeling, preferably in dbt. You know how to combine data from different sources into a targeted model that is meaningful to the business.Experience with collaboration and version control tools like GitHub.An interest in Agentic AI and modern coding practices. Knowledge of AI coding assistants like GitHub Copilot is a big plus and will give you a flying start.The following skills are a plus:Master’s degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science or other closely-related study.Academic or initial work experience in Python and general Data Science concepts.Knowledge of hosting and data warehousing tools like Snowflake and AWS.If this job sounds like an exciting adventure, apply today!
