This is a great opportunity for an analytically minded professional to play a key role in turning data into actionable insight that supports better business decisions across major infrastructure programmes.About the RoleAs a Data Analyst, you will work closely with teams across the business to collect, interpret, and present data in ways that drive informed decision-making. You’ll be responsible for building and maintaining dashboards, identifying trends, and communicating findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesCollect, clean, and analyse large datasets from multiple sourcesDesign, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reportsIdentify trends, patterns, and insights to support strategic decision-makingWork collaboratively with stakeholders to understand reporting requirementsTranslate complex data into clear, actionable insights for a range of audiencesEnsure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reporting outputsContinuously look for ways to improve data processes and reporting efficiencyRequirementsProven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical roleBackground within the utilities or infrastructure sector is essentialStrong hands-on experience with Power BI (essential)Excellent Excel skills; experience with SQL is desirableStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detailAbility to communicate complex data clearly to non-technical audiencesComfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative teamBased in or able to commute to ManchesterWhat We OfferCompetitive salary of approximately £60,000A supportive and collaborative working environmentOpportunities for professional development and career progressionHybrid/flexible working arrangements (where applicable)
