Data Analyst | Bristol (Hybrid) | Salary: £50,000-£70,000Peaple Talent have partnered with a leading UK engineering consultancy looking to expand its Digital team with the addition of Data Analysts with exposure to Data Science, machine learning and AI.This is an exciting opportunity to apply Python, SQL and data visualisation to real-world challenges across engineering, energy and the built environment. You'll work alongside engineers, consultants and software teams to analyse complex datasets, generate actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making, while contributing to forecasting, statistical modelling and AI initiatives.What you'll be doing:Analysing complex datasets using Python and SQL to identify trends and generate actionable insights.Building dashboards and visualisations using tools such as Power BI.Performing exploratory data analysis, statistical analysis and optimisation.Working with stakeholders to translate business challenges into data-driven solutions.Supporting the development of machine learning models, predictive analytics and AI applications.What we're looking for:Strong Python and SQL skills.Experience in data analysis, analytics or business intelligence.Experience with data visualisation and communicating insights to stakeholders.Understanding of statistics, with exposure to machine learning, predictive modelling or forecasting.An interest in AI and generative AI applications.Strong problem-solving skills and an understanding of good coding practices.A few highlights:💸 Salary: £50,000-£70,000📍 Bristol-based with hybrid and flexible working🤖 Opportunities to apply machine learning and generative AI to real-world problems📈 Varied projects with scope to influence how data and technology are used across the business
