Data Analyst

Alexander Technology Group is seeking a Data Analyst to join a small, collaborative team of three. This position will combine SQL-based data analysis with Power BI reporting, helping business stakeholders access and understand the information they need.The ideal candidate will bring two to five years of relevant experience, strong SQL and Power BI skills, and the ability to work directly with business users to understand their reporting needs. This position is based in central Maine with some flexibility for a hybrid schedule.ResponsibilitiesUse SQL to query, analyze, and validate data in support of business reporting needs. Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards. Meet with business stakeholders to gather requirements and clarify reporting objectives. Translate business needs into clear, accurate, and useful reporting solutions. Investigate data discrepancies and troubleshoot reporting issues. Collaborate with a small team to prioritize requests and deliver reporting improvements. Document reporting requirements and processes to support ongoing maintenance. QualificationsTwo to five years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related role. Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience developing reports in Power BI. Ability to translate business requirements into practical reporting solutions. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills. Excellent communication skills and comfort working directly with business stakeholders. Ability to balance independent technical work with collaboration across the business.
