The role combines advanced analytical expertise, stakeholder partnership and team leadership to translate complex business challenges into scalable data-driven solutions. The Lead Data Analyst establishes analytical best practices, mentors team members, and champions continuous improvement to strengthen delivery excellence across projects.YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIESAnalytical LeadershipLead complex analytical engagements.Define analytical approaches, methodologies and success measures for business and marketing initiatives.Translate complex business questions into scalable analytical solutions that drive decision making.Delivery ExcellenceOversee the quality, accuracy and consistency of analytical deliverables across projects.Review analytical outputs and provide technical guidance to ensure client-ready delivery.Establish best practices for reporting, visualization, documentation and analytical governance.Team LeadershipPresent complex analytical findings and influence business decisions through compelling storytelling.Mentor and coach analysts to strengthen technical capability and business acumen.Promote knowledge sharing, collaboration and analytical best practices across the team.Support capability development through coaching, feedback and technical leadership.Innovation & Continuous ImprovementDrive automation, standardization and process improvement initiatives that improve delivery efficiency and quality.Evaluate and adopt emerging analytical tools, AI capabilities and technologies that enhance business value.Contribute to the evolution of analytical frameworks, governance standards and reusable assets.REQUIRED SKILLSExpert SQL skills for complex data extraction, transformation and optimization.Advanced proficiency in Python and Excel for analytical automation and data analysis.Strong experience with reporting and visualization platforms (Power BI, Tableau or similar).Strong understanding of statistical analysis, experimentation and marketing analytics.Experience designing scalable analytical solutions and implementing governance best practices.Demonstrated ability to mentor analysts and lead technical delivery across multiple projects.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSAcademic BackgroundBachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or another quantitative discipline.Working experience: 10+ yearsLanguagesIntermediate English proficiency (B2 reading, writing and conversation).SKILLS / COMPETENCIESLeadership & CommunicationInfluences stakeholders through clear communication and data-driven recommendations.Communicates effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders and leadership.Builds trusted relationships through credibility, collaboration and professionalism.Strategic & Analytical ThinkingDefines analytical approaches for complex and ambiguous business problems.Connects analytical outcomes to strategic business objectives and measurable impact.Balances technical rigor with commercial and client priorities.Technical LeadershipProvides technical direction and establishes analytical best practices across projects.Ensures analytical quality, governance and consistency in delivery.Evaluates and promotes modern analytical techniques, tools and automation.Business & Client PartnershipActs as a trusted advisor to stakeholders by translating business needs into analytical solutions.Identifies opportunities to improve customer experience, campaign performance and business outcomes.Team Development & InnovationCoaches and develops analysts through mentoring, feedback and knowledge sharing.Drives continuous improvement through automation, standardization and innovation.NOTE: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
