Data Analyst Team Leader (Data Lead)

Position: Data Scientist Team Leader (Eng required)Interview rounds: 2 roundsSalary: NegotiableWorking hours: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (Mon – Fri)Company address: 5th floor, 147 Hai Ba Trung, Xuan Hoa Ward, Ho Chi Minh cityRESPONSIBILITIES:1.     Reporting & Data MonitoringProduce periodic and ad-hoc reports covering business operations, performance, and strategic KPIs.Ensure data accuracy, timely updates, and compliance with data standards.2.     Analysis & Decision SupportMonitor performance and analyze data to support both strategic and operational decision-making.Deliver insights on customer behavior, product performance, market conditions, and business trends.3.     Dashboard & AIBuild, update, and optimize dashboards (Excel, Google Sheets, Power BI/Tableau/Looker Studio).Support report automation and operation of data models or analytics systems.Collaborate to implement intelligent tools (AI, automation) for business operations and customer engagement.4.     Data Infrastructure & ApplicationsMonitor and manage internal data systems, ensuring secure and stable storage and processing.Collaborate with IT and other teams to maintain and improve systems and applications.Support UAT, validation, and end-user assistance during system deployments.Identify issues, troubleshoot, or coordinate with vendors to ensure stable system operations.5.     Internal Coordination & SupportWork closely with departments to ensure data and reporting needs are met on time.Provide guidance on using reports, dashboards, and data tools.6.     Data & System StrategyDefine and implement initiatives in data, AI, and automation to optimize operations, enhance customer experience, and drive growth.Develop scalable data and system architectures ensuring flexible integration with new tools and platforms.Ensure data governance, security, and regulatory compliance across all data collection, processing, and utilization activities.Enable departments to maximize data value through visualization tools, advanced analytics, and self-service analytics platforms.7.     Team Leadership & ManagementLead and develop IT team to achieve company objectives.Set clear goals, define workflows, and manage task allocation to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and support career development of team members.Foster a collaborative, data-driven culture and promote knowledge sharing with the team.Retain talent to build a high-performing data team. QUALIFICATIONS:Prefer a Bachelor's degree in: Information Technology, Information Management, Data Science, or related fields.Minimum 3-5 years of experience as MIS/Data Analyst or Data Scientist OR 1-2 years experience in leading/managing a teamEnglish required Proficient in SQL with experience in MongoDB.Skilled in using Python/Java for data processing and visualization.Proficient in Tableau, Power BI, or Excel (Pivot Table, VBA is a plus).Basic knowledge of system integration via API or cloud platforms is an advantage.
