Data Analytics Engineer

Key ResponsibilitiesWork closely with relevant business functions to understand business domains, processes, and data structures.Contribute to solutions related to data migration, data modeling, data validation, and data governance.Coordinate with stakeholders to understand data requirements, including user insights, customer journeys, and business metrics.Translate business requirements into meaningful data implementations, analyses, datasets, reports, and dashboards using BI tools.Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights that support strategic business planning.Collaborate with Data Engineers to develop efficient frameworks and tools for data quality and data lineage.Coach and support business users in understanding and effectively using BI reports and dashboards.Perform data audits and root-cause analysis to identify and resolve data mismatches across systems when needed.Key Qualifications & Experience3–4 years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or related fields.Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.Strong expertise in SQL is required.Intermediate hands-on experience with at least one programming language, such as Python or R.Hands-on experience in designing and working with data warehouses, data marts, and aggregation tables, using platforms such as AWS Redshift or Snowflake.Familiarity with dimensional data modeling and building scalable analytics solutions.Proficiency in Power BI, with experience using other visualization tools such as Metabase, Superset, or Tableau.Experience in data cleansing, data transformation, data quality assessment, and statistical analysis.Strong mentorship and knowledge-sharing mindset, with the ability to guide junior Data Analysts.Nice to HavePractical experience transforming data using dbt (Data Build Tool).Hands-on exposure to building centralized data catalogs using tools such as DataHub, OpenMetadata, or similar platforms.Experience with Intelligent Credit Scoring implementation.Familiarity with building a Semantic Layer for data platforms using tools such as Cube, AtScale, or equivalent.Proven ability to work effectively in Agile/Scrum environments.Experience using AI-assisted tools to automate data workflows and support complex data architecture and modeling.Why Join Gimo?Impact-Driven WorkBe part of a mission-driven fintech company transforming financial access for millions of underserved Vietnamese workers.Growth OpportunitiesWork in a fast-growing environment that values growth, autonomy, accountability, and ownership, empowering individuals to take initiative and make meaningful decisions.Innovative CultureJoin a team that embraces innovation, data, and technology to create impactful solutions.
