Digital Skills Centre is committed to helping learners gain skills that position them for growth and global opportunities.Role Description: The Data Analytics Instructor in Ikorodu, Lagos, will deliver high-quality, practical training in data analytics and related tools to learners. This full-time role involves preparing lesson plans, teaching concepts such as data interpretation, visualization, reporting, and the use of modern analytics and AI tools, and guiding learners through hands-on projects. The instructor will assess learner performance, provide feedback, and support learners in building portfolios and job-ready skills.Responsibilities also include updating course materials, collaborating with other instructors to improve curriculum, and staying current with industry trends to ensure training remains relevant and effective. The role requires consistent on-site presence in Ikorodu, Lagos, and active participation in learner mentoring and class administration.Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong
- Information Technology skills, including familiarity with data analytics tools, databases, and business intelligence platforms.
- Candidates should possess Teaching, Training, and Lecturing skills, with experience delivering technical content to diverse learner groups.
- Candidates should possess Software Development fundamentals or experience, especially as they relate to data handling, scripting, or automation.
- Relevant experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), spreadsheets, and statistical analysis is highly beneficial.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
- Strong communication, presentation, and classroom management skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in clear, accessible language.
- Demonstrated ability to design learning materials, support project-based learning, and mentor learners toward employability outcomes.
- Familiarity with AI-powered analytics tools and current industry practices in data-driven decision-making is an advantage.
