Data ArchitectLocation: Saudi ArabiaExperience: 3+ yearsSector: Technology ConsultancyWe are working on behalf of a specialist technology consultancy in Saudi Arabia to identify a Data Architect to support client engagements across data architecture, data management, and enterprise architecture initiatives.The role will focus on helping organisations define and improve their data architecture, establish effective data standards and practices, and translate business requirements into scalable data structures and target-state architectures.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and maintain conceptual and logical data models aligned with business and technology requirements.Define and apply data architecture principles, standards, and best practices.Map data entities and domains across business capabilities, applications, and underlying data sources.Support initiatives across data governance, metadata, data quality, data integration, and master data management (MDM).Assess existing data architectures, identify gaps, and contribute to target-state architecture and transformation roadmaps.Work with business and technology stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into practical architecture solutions.Contribute to data architecture documentation, standards, frameworks, and governance processes.Support wider enterprise architecture and data management initiatives across client engagements.Experience & Skills3–5 years of relevant experience in Data Architecture, Data Management, Data Modelling, Enterprise Architecture, or a closely related field.Strong understanding of conceptual and logical data modelling.Good knowledge of databases, data integration, MDM, data governance, and modern data platforms.Experience working with business and technology stakeholders to understand and translate data requirements.Familiarity with DAMA-DMBOK, TOGAF, and Enterprise Architecture principles is preferred.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Consultancy or client-facing experience would be advantageous.Ideal ProfileWe are looking for someone who combines a solid foundation in data architecture and modelling with an understanding of the wider enterprise environment.
