The ideal candidate will have strong experience working with industrial data platforms and integrating operational technology (OT) systems with modern cloud and enterprise environments.You will be responsible for translating business and operational requirements into scalable data solutions, designing integration architectures, and ensuring secure, governed, and reliable data flows across industrial and cloud ecosystems.RequirementsKey ResponsibilitiesDesign solution-level data architectures for industrial digital and operational use casesArchitect integrations between operational systems such as SCADA, PI Historian, OPC-UA, and MQTT and cloud or enterprise platformsDesign and implement scalable data pipelines using technologies such as Kafka, Spark, ETL, and ELTWork with industrial data platforms and comparable solutions to structure, contextualize, and manage industrial dataDesign cloud-based data solutions across Azure, AWS, and GCP environmentsDefine data ingestion, processing, transformation, storage, and consumption patterns based on solution requirementsDevelop and document integration architectures using REST APIs and other data exchange mechanismsEstablish solution-level standards for data governance, security, access control, and data qualityEnsure secure and reliable deployment of data solutions across cloud and enterprise environmentsCollaborate with engineering, business, OT, cloud, and data teams to translate requirements into practical technical architecturesEvaluate technology choices and recommend appropriate platforms, tools, and architectural patternsCreate architecture documentation, technical designs, integration specifications, and implementation guidelinesSupport engineering teams during implementation and provide architectural guidance throughout the solution lifecycleRequired QualificationsProven experience as a Data Architect, Solution Architect, Cloud Data Architect, or similar roleStrong understanding of cloud and data architecture principlesHands-on experience with one or more major cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, or GCPStrong programming and scripting experience with PythonStrong proficiency in SQL and experience designing data models and data processing solutionsExperience designing and integrating REST APIsExperience working with industrial data sources, operational technology, or industrial IoT environmentsStrong understanding of data ingestion, integration, processing, and pipeline architectureExperience with secure deployment, data governance, and enterprise integration patternsAbility to communicate complex architectural concepts clearly to both technical and business stakeholdersMust-Have SkillsCloud PlatformsPythonCognite / Industrial Data PlatformsData ArchitectureSolution ArchitectureSQLREST APIsGood-to-Have SkillsCognite Data Fusion (CDF)Industrial ProtocolsApache KafkaSparkSCADAPI HistorianOPC-UAMQTTETL / ELT
