Data Architect

Data Architect/ 12 Month + FTC RoleDesign and Implement Cloud Based Data PlatformGreenfield EnvironmentWe're currently looking for a Hands-On Data Architect to join an organisation going through a significant period of change across its data environment.This role will suit someone who has strong architecture experience but is still comfortable being hands-on. You’ll play a key role in shaping the data strategy and overall architecture, while also getting involved across data modelling, ETL/ELT pipeline development and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Help define and deliver the overall data strategy and architecture roadmap
• Design logical and physical data models across the data environment
• Get hands-on with the development of ETL/ELT pipelines and data integrations
• Design scalable data warehouse and data platform solutions
• Work across Power BI, semantic modelling and reporting architecture
• Ensure data models are designed effectively for reporting and analytics requirements
• Establish best practices across data architecture, security, governance and integrationSkills Required:
• Strong experience working as a Data Architect within complex data environments
• Strong hands-on experience across data modelling, including dimensional and enterprise modelling
• Experience designing and developing ETL/ELT pipelines
• Strong experience with Power BI and semantic models
• Good understanding of modern data warehouse and data platform architecture
• Ability to move between high-level architecture and hands-on technical delivery
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
