Data Architect - GCP

ABOUT:Systems Limited is hiring a Data Architect (GCP) to lead the design and implementation of modern, scalable data platforms. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining enterprise data architecture, driving cloud transformation initiatives, and building secure, high-performance data ecosystems on Google Cloud Platform. This role requires close collaboration with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Software Engineers, and business stakeholders to enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.LOCATION: 𝐊𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢/𝐈𝐬𝐥𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐝/𝐋𝐚𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐞KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Design and implement enterprise-grade data architectures on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).Develop scalable Data Lake, Data Warehouse, and Lakehouse architectures to support business and analytical requirements.Lead cloud data migration projects from on-premises and legacy systems to GCP.Define enterprise data models, integration frameworks, and data governance standards.Architect and optimize batch and real-time data processing pipelines.Establish best practices for data quality, lineage, metadata management, security, and compliance.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.Ensure platform scalability, reliability, performance, and cost efficiency.Lead architecture reviews, technical discussions, and solution design workshops.Mentor engineering teams on cloud architecture, data engineering, and GCP best practices.Drive adoption of modern analytics, AI/ML, and data-driven decision-making capabilities.REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.Minimum 8+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, or Cloud Data Solutions.Hands-on experience designing and deploying large-scale data platforms on GCP.Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles and cloud-native design patterns.Experience working with large volumes of structured and unstructured data.Proven ability to engage with business and technical stakeholders at all levels
