Data Automation & Analytics AnalystOn behalf of a Real Estate Private Equity Firm, we are seeking a highly analytical and technical Data Automation & Analytics Analyst to optimize internal workflows, scale data infrastructure, and eliminate operational friction across our firm. Operating at the core of our business operations, this cross-functional position partners closely with Asset Management, Investment Acquisitions, Accounting, HR, Legal, and Corporate IT.The primary mission of this role is to replace manual processes with programmatic solutions, drastically reduce human error, and build tools that allow our diverse teams to operate at maximum capacity. The ideal candidate is a language-agnostic programmer who is passionate about efficiency and highly capable of bridging the gap between raw data pipelines and real-world business applications.Key Areas of ResponsibilityWorkflow Optimization & Tool Building: Audit existing workflows to identify high-volume, repetitive processes and eliminate operational "fat" via technical automation. Key initiatives include developing parsers and scraping tools to organize high-volume inbound email streams, accelerating transaction underwriting pipelines, and managing automated corporate utility and ledger infrastructure.Pipeline & Architecture Engineering: Design, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to centralize disparate operational data streams into a cloud data warehouse environment.Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Interface with executive stakeholders and department heads to map business processes, translate operational challenges into technical specifications, and deploy internal automation tools.AI & Emergent Tech Integration: Research and implement modern AI utilities and LLM technologies (e.g., automated communication agents and classifiers) to optimize data organization across various company networks.Systems Interoperability: Ensure seamless data synchronization and continuous reporting integrity across primary property management platforms, banking databases, procurement systems, and corporate repositories.Background & Experience RequirementsProfessional Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience in data engineering, operations automation, or quantitative analytics. You will be joining an established, high-performing internal data teamPedigree & Target Profiles: To match the high analytical baseline of the team, we are actively targeting candidates with academic credentials from top-tier, highly quantitative universities and professional backgrounds spanning premier technology firms or leading data-driven institutions.Technical Proficiencies: Advanced command of Python and SQL highly preferred.Strong expertise working with complex relational databases and structuring data warehousing architectures.Direct experience or exposure to Snowflake or an equivalent cloud data warehouse solution.Natural problem solver who treats programming languages as tools, maintaining flexibility to code in whatever language best solves the operational bottleneck at hand.Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or an equivalent technical discipline.Industry Domain (Preferred): Prior exposure to real estate ecosystems, financial markets, or accounting structures is beneficial. Specific familiarity with enterprise real estate tech stacks (such as property management systems or automated accounts payable software) is a substantial advantage.
