The Data Center Architect will design and optimize data center infrastructures, including power, cooling, space utilization, and scalability to meet customer and internal requirements. Responsibilities include developing reference architectures, evaluating new technologies, and producing detailed technical designs, diagrams, and documentation. The role involves working closely with sales, pre-sales, and engineering teams to translate business needs into robust, energy-efficient data center solutions, and providing technical guidance during implementation and commissioning. The Data Center Architect will also support project reviews, performance assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure reliability, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.Qualifications Strong expertise in Data Center Architecture and Solution Architecture to design end-to-end, scalable, and energy-efficient data center solutions.Hands-on experience with Data Center Infrastructure and Infrastructure design, including power, cooling, racks, cabling, and physical layouts.Solid understanding of Networking concepts and architectures relevant to modern data centers, such as switching, routing, and security.Proficiency in translating technical requirements into detailed design documents, diagrams, and bills of materials.Experience working with data center standards and best practices (e.g., Tier classifications, redundancy models, safety and compliance frameworks).Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, IT, or a related technical discipline.Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CDCP, CDCS, networking or infrastructure certifications) are an advantage.Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and focus on reliability, efficiency, and sustainability.
