Data Center Engineer

Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Data Center Engineer to manage, operate, secure, and optimize enterprise server and virtualization environments.The successful candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Linux administration, virtualization platforms, backup and disaster recovery, system hardening, and production data center operations.Key Responsibilities* Manage and operate enterprise Linux server environments.* Monitor server performance, availability, capacity, and reliability.* Administer virtualization platforms including VMware vSphere, Nutanix, and/or Microsoft Hyper-V.* Manage backup, restoration, and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions.* Perform system hardening according to cybersecurity best practices.* Manage operating system updates and Patch Management.* Identify and remediate server vulnerabilities.* Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and server-related incidents.* Participate in business continuity and disaster recovery exercises.* Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.* Ensure the stability, security, and availability of data center infrastructure.Minimum Qualifications* Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in systems, servers, or data center infrastructure.* Strong experience in Linux administration.* Certification such as RHCSA or CompTIA Linux+.* Hands-on experience with one or more of: * VMware vSphere * Nutanix * Microsoft Hyper-V* Strong experience with Backup & Disaster Recovery.* Knowledge of System Hardening and Patch Management.* Experience operating enterprise infrastructure within production environments.
